Hi, I'm Jenny McKeon (she/her), a full-time freelance translator! As of 2024, I've translated 200+ manga volumes and 50+ light novels. I also occasionally find time to draw and write, make comics and zines, doodle, stream, and dream up stories; currently I'm working on a light novel of my own, as well as a few graphic novel pitches and short comics/manga.Some of my favorite genres and topics to work on (or create in) include comedy, romance, yuri, autobio/essay, and slice of life. I have a fondness for found families, fantasy, and female protagonists (also, alliteration).I'm an alumni of UMass Amherst, and live in Massachusetts with two handsome cats and one handsome spouse.Outside of work and creative endeavors, my personal interests include reading, video games (Switch and PC), planners/journaling (Hobonichi for life), birding, and taking hundreds of identical photos of my cats.
